Exercise - Positioning a Point

After spending the week on holiday I am back and cracking on with my study. I went down to Margate to take some photos for this exercise and used boats and birds as points. As I drove upto the house though I saw a hot air balloon and decided to use that instead.

Using the rule of thirds I placed the balloon on the top left juncture
Again using the same rule I placed the balloon on the bottom left

Lastly I used the top right juncture

The reason I used the rule of thirds was because it does not give a static image and has one that gives a sense of depth. My personal favourite is the last one with the balloon in the top left of the picture,

I now have Photoshop CS5 and learning a lot about its capabilities.
